AChemES is an organization offering support to persons pursuing, or interested in pursuing a career in the field of Chemical Engineering. The Association is also geared towards providing an effective means of linking students with rich resources to facilitate academic and social development within the sphere of the chemical engineering industry.
The Association follows major feats and trends in engineering, especially those in the field of chemical engineering, and showcases these to students to enhance their knowledge and expand their horizons. In addition to this, AChemES exposes engineering students to processes and other related information by conducting field trips and special projects. The Association also boasts a mentorship program for persons who need assistance in their courses.
AChemES is based in the University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech). We are committed to advancing our members in the field of chemical engineering, and to assist in producing competitive, marketable world-class graduates, ready for the working world.
